Dexithea was a Telchinian woman and one of the many consorts of King Minos.
History[]
Dexithea was the only one spared from the extermination of the Telchinian people, and remained on the island of Ceos for many years. King Minos of Crete arrived on the island and, having consorted with Dexithea, left her half his army who set up a colony; in due time Dexithea gave birth to Euxantius who eventually became king of the island.
